Rules of Coming Out Lemon Detox Diet


Lemon detox diet has been popular around for almost 50 years. This diet combines lost of weight and detoxification or cleansing. It proves its effectiveness in boosting metabolism, reducing water retention and losing of fat. 

The lemon detox diet provides the digestive tract vacation and lets the body cleanse itself naturally. Firstly, the diet uses a detoxification program to speed fat burning and then implements a program of losing weight rapidly.

As a cleansing program the lemon detox diet includes only drinking a beverage contained lemons, pure maple syrup, cayenne pepper and water for a minimum of ten days.  The daily menu includes six to ten glasses a day of lemon detox drinks and as well laxative senna tea or a sea salt drink in the evening. 

It is also suggested to drink one to two liters of water daily. There are no other foods permitted during the lemon detox. Lemon as a source of vitamins and maple syrup provide the body's necessities during cleanse program.

On the first day after the end of the diet it is needed to include orange juice into menu. Afterwards it is introduced some broths and vegetable soups. These can include steamed vegetables and sautéed greens. 

One of the recommended post-cleanse recipes is a green soup made from puréed string beans, zucchini and carrot which provides the body with natural minerals and electrolytes. However, keep in mind, not to overeat or eat too quickly. Eating slowly and smaller portions you’ll appreciate how good food tastes and recognize how much food you really need.
